Artybody is a dream factory of creativity, imagination, passion, colour and fun!
Artybody is run by Queenie Ong, a professional face painter and artist. As resident face painter, she transforms little and big people into living breathing art works at birthday parties, theme parties, corporate events and carnivals. Artybody specialises in birthday parties for children, turning them into fun and colourful occasions - kids have a blast with popular themes such as animals, superheroes, butterflies, princesses, anything pink!, even Hello Kitty parties. Artybody likes to work with the child's imagination and encourage their creativity and paint anything they want -- even if it's something as far out as a snaggle toothed purple monster or having the planet Jupiter painted on their hands and faces.
She uses only professional face paints which are U.S. FDA-approved, cosmetic grade glitter and stickers. Pregnant belly paintings and commissioned body paintings are also available. She will go to your home or party location and can face and body paint about 10-15 children in an hour depending on the designs.
Previous experience in Singapore includes face painting at Focus on the Family's World of Narnia carnival on Orchard Road, National Day Parade 2007, MAAD (Market of Artists & Designers), numerous children's birthday parties and adult parties.
Other work experience includes: in-house legal counsel, regional marketing and corporate communications. Currently she also works with primary school children at an English enrichment centre. In her spare time (and if she gets the chance to eat out), she loves examining and correcting restaurant menus for spelling mistakes. And imagining fantastical art work designs to paint on people she meets on buses and trains.
